![]() ![]() ![]() If you see a message that says Disk Utility can’t repair the disk, try again.If you see a message that says the disk is about to fail, back it up immediately.In the sidebar, select a disk or volume.In the top left corner of the window, click View and choose View all devices.Go to Applications > Utilities and double-click Disk Utility to launch it.To boot in Recovery Mode, restart your Mac and hold down Command-R. If the disk you’re trying to repair is your start-up disk, you’ll need to boot into Recovery Mode and choose Disk Utility from macOS Utilities from the startup screen.
